Grab a notebook, jot down the shopping list and go on..cook up a delectable storm in your kitchen.

Host the ULTIMATE Diwali party with this perfect menu, curated by Lapetitchef including appetizers, cocktails & desserts!!

First things first. This is not a religious post. This is just a Diwali menu. Even though we don’t eat non veg on Diwali, we always have some non veg dishes for our hard core carnivore friends. So I will be including them in this post. I hope no one will take offense at this and just choose what you like from the menu without getting judgemental. Remember the spirit of this post is just Delicious Food that most people will love!!

Just coz its Diwali is no reason why your guests should eat “only” desi khaana. At my home parties are usually easy, breezy affairs with food that usually is prepared ahead of time, where my friends pitch in to help and of course that doesn’t make me sweaty or a slave in the kitchen!! Most of the dishes listed below are all prep ahead, with the final grill in the oven or the final frying. Its easy, quick, highly adaptable and of course takes into account the cool evenings we are now having!! I hope you guys enjoy making your party as fun as the menu I have curated below.

Although this post has 27 recipes in this Diwali menu, ideally a dinner party will be perfect if it has 2 of each category. Personally I prefer having more appetizers rather than cumbersome main course, mix it up with an array of individually portioned dessert bar, a live counter ( the chicken wrap in this case, swap with falafel for veg version) and a nice drink menu!

Simply click on the dish you like to get its RECIPE.
