New books piled high to be read.The bell of an ice cream truck passing by and vacations excitedly planned. Yes, summer is here in all its glory and we are loving it! It’s the perfect time to party with friends and relax. At Saucy Saturday’s we are excitedly planning our 1st anniversary fete! It won’t be a weekly party. Nope. We will be spreading ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL FEATURES for two weeks and sending a lot of social media love your way. So go on, link up your BEST RECIPE & DIY post. There’s still two weeks before we start on the nerve wracking job of having to choose the best from 52 weeks worth of awesomeness.

Our newbie feature this week is, Alexis from Chemistry Cachet. Alexis is Texan born and raised, and married to a former Marine for 9 years. It’s no surprise that she has a professional degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, as her blog provides “chemist solutions for Healthy living, easy baking, pretty flowers and endless coffee”. She even runs an Academic consulting business to help students becomes successful! From healthy living tips, to baking, to gardening and to books – Alexis has it all on her blog!
