So these cookies are totally drool worthy you guys! Just the pick me up anyone would want. I made a batch of 22 and we finished it all in 3 days flat. Made some again and gave to my neighbors who loved it of course! And D’s tiny friends who seemed to have fallen in love with the texture and taste of these cookies.
These chewy yet soft peanut butter kiss cookies are perfect for an anytime snack. Kids love it and so do adults! Here I have used a premium creamy salted peanut butter from Hankavalshiers nut butter. You can use any creamy peanut butter of your choice. Make these quick.

Peanut butter kiss cookies
Delicious, creamy, soft yet chewy peanut butter cookies adorned with a delicious Hershey's kiss.
- 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter ,1 stick
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 30 Hershey's kiss candy , your choice of flavor
- extra sugar for rolling
In a bowl whisk together the dry ingredients; flour, salt and baking soda. Keep aside.
Now using a stand mixer or a hand held mixer fitted with paddle attachment, beat together the softened butter, both the types of sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the peanut butter and continue beating till the mix is of one homogeneous color. Scrape the sides well and combine.
Add egg and vanilla. Beat till creamy. Then add the flour mixture and light mix it till its completely combined.
Scoop 1 tablespoon of the dough and shape into smooth balls. Roll them lightly in sugar and place on a baking tray lined with parchment. Space them at 1 1/2 inch gap.
Bake for 10 mins in a 375 F or 180C preheated oven. Remove from oven and immediately press one Hershey kiss into the centre of each cookie.
If the cookies crack lightly when you press the candy in - dont be scared!! It just means you did it right!!
Place on a wire rack and let cool completely. Store in an air tight container and keep.
You can also use regular milk chocolate if you dont have Hershey's kiss at hand. I used Dairy Milk squares and they tasted just as awesome!!
