I am feeling kind of blur not just coz Thanksgiving is over and its a month to my favorite holiday , but also coz I am down with a stupid fever. Ugh. Isn’t it the worst when your throat feels like its got hot coals in it and your body is a hot mess, in a so not “beautiful mess” kind of way? So that’s me now. But you know what made me feel better today? Knowing that breakfast was already ready and thankfully I wouldn’t have to bother cooking anything today. With easy and delicious on the go food like this banana coconut muffins with organic peanut butter and walnut streusel ready to go, you can rest pretty easy that your family’s mornings are getting off to not just a happy and delicious start, but also a healthy one!
I try and avoid all kinds of butter and icing where I can and why shouldn’t you! They are loaded with fat, processed sugar and are super unhealthy. So barring the occasional celebratory indulgence, I prefer muffins or cakes made of yogurt or olive oil, fruits and healthier sweeteners like jaggery. My strawberry Nutella banana bread is a huge hit with everyone. As are these orange yogurt muffins with poppy seeds! These are just so so good and loved by kids and adults alike. My kind of food! Also, take a look at this Baked pears with cranberries and organic jaggery syrup for a way to eat desserts without any guilt whatsoever. Who wouldn’t love it!!??
