Mango cardamom lassi popsicle

A delicious and refreshing dessert for hot summers!

  • 2 whole ripe mangoes Honey mango will do if you are abroad. If in India, pick up your favorite sweet variety. I used Dussehri for this
  • 200 ml yogurt ( I used low fat)
  • 100 ml skimmed milk or water ( if you want it even healthier)
  • 4 tbsp sugar use more or less as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp saffron soaked in warm water for 3-4 minutes
  • 3 cardamom pods pounded
  • 4-5 fresh frangipane flowers steeped in warm water for 10 mins. Strain and use 2 tsp of the infused water.


  1. Put everything together in a blender and blend till smooth, 

    Pass through a sieve. 

    Now pour into mould of choice. Garnish with a few more cardamom pods and saffron threads. 

    Chill in the freezer for 4-5 hours till firm.
